I come from this tiny town down in Southern Germany, which pretty much sums me up. I lived and studied in both Stuttgart and Berlin before ending up as what they call a "Piefke" – a German living in Austria. Currently, I'm posted up in Vienna.

Honestly, I'm always torn between spilling the beans and spinning this cool yarn about how I got into directing. Truth is, I've just always had a thing for making up stories since I was knee-high (you'd get a kick out of the wild tales I wrote at six). That love for storytelling never really left me, and I even managed a half-decent bachelor's thesis about the evolution of storytelling in German ads. Not sure it did much for me, but hey, I wrote it.
